Maine has a number of local Marketplace "navigators" or "certified application counselor" organizations that can provide free in-person assistance to help you review health plan options and sign up for health insurance. These individuals and organizations are collectively called “certified assisters” and are identified with an A in the directory list and on the map below.
Maine insurance brokers can also help you review coverage options and sign up. The directory now includes insurance brokers who: have a contractual relationship with one or both of the insurance companies offering plans on the Maine Marketplace; and have been certified to assist individuals or businesses sign up for health insurance through the Marketplace. Insurance brokers are identified with a B in the directory list and on the map below.
